We need to capture some of the concepts happening here, and also any examples you find in "the world" that would be useful for promoting Joomla!.
I'm envisioning this topic to be a (very bad) database of ideas that we could hopefully transfer to better forms later.
This material could be used in many ways, for example, to develop a "What is Joomla!" brochure, or for individuals to select detail they find most useful for a presentation they are giving at work to convince decision makers that Joomla! is a solid choice. Many times, people ask "Who is using Joomla!" and having a list of cool sites is useful.
So, random cool Joomla! stuff. Toss it in the comments as you find it. Add a bit of a description, perhaps a contact (if that makes sense). Don't worry about format or wording - just collect and share cool stuff.

"otherwise thanks for what you've provided and the door is always open"
This sentence could be understood also as "there are the doors, leave now, we don't like you", but probably this is not how it was meant.
Yes, that's true, Klas. You are right, that's not what was intended, and that could be how it's interpreted. Probably not the best quote. As you, and others who have worked with him know, Sam is one of the most welcoming people in all of Joomla!. I've appreciated his involvement many times.

The fact that Sam posted in reply to my post little less than a day after my statement here regarding OSM created some doubts in my mind.. But probably a coincidence :)
Sam, and others, responded to your suggestion in that thread that minimum standards be implemented for continued involvement with the Bug Squad. It's not what the Bug Squad is about -- it's an entry point, with no expectations, so that anyone can join.
