Alternative category cmd -layout issue. Please confirm

Could someone please confirm this for me .

I am trying to create alternate category layout  ,

works fine is just that my slug is duplicating the layout view or inheriting the old one  ,

I created new xml file called testing.xml  and placed in

template/html/com_content/category/  folder ,

before testing.xml I had another file in there called   myblogview.xml which is deleted ,

Now when I go to menu item and select my Testing blog as layout

cmd becomes     view=category&layout=myblogview:testing

I checked all files , deleted the new xml's few times but the new link is always like that.

It works fine is just anoying and  I am sure something is wrong.

cache cleared.
