Hi Matias,
Thank you for your work on this! I still use your MTWMigrator tool when I find a client using 1.0 and need to upgrade to 1.5. It works the best!

I will try to test this tool on a 1.6 upgrade this weekend.

I have a question... on your site, it says here http://www.matware.com.ar/joomla/jupgrade.html :
Install a new fresh Joomla 1.5 without any content sample.

That should be 1.6 correct?
You are right. Im changing that text now. You need to install jUpgrade on the Joomla 1.5 to be migrated. The extension should install the Joomla 1.6 and migrate the data from Joomla 1.5. For now it only migrate users, in the next version i will to include categories, content, modules, etc, etc.

Remember that is a development version, please do not use on productions sites.

I wait for your conclusions.

Best regards

Thanks so much, Matias. Will give it a test run and let you know what I find. Appreciate your contributions - this is a critical piece of 1.6.
Ciao Matias,
I've tested the new version 0.4.0, the component has created the new site, but without contents.
Alex, Amy,

Is perfect to receive some feedback to fix all issues in jUpgrade.

Alex, you run the migration and receive a site without content and categories too? or only contents is missing?

If you like, i can to test the component in your test server and try to fix the issues there.

Take care
ok, my test site is http://demo.joomlafree.it
and the result is: http://demo.joomlafree.it/jupgrade/ only the user table is ok.
How can I send you the password?
