I'm not sure this is the right place to be canvassing for business. Most of the people here will already be expert developers, that's why they are here - why would they be interested in outsourcing?

Sorry to sound negative but my email inbox gets messages almost identical to your post every day from outsourcing companies, let's not repeat that here.

Thats right but we are helping the developers to get the right resource if they have lot of work and can't personally work on all of them, so they can outsource to the team of experts :)

That's a good point, Dan. The entire site is a directory of professionals.

Pankaj - you could certainly use your Profile page to promote yourself and your work. Another way of promoting yourself is by getting involved in the community and helping with the activity going on. That should improve your name recognition and people will learn about you as they watch you contribute.

One theme we continue to promote is that we don't want to duplicate what is already available at Joomla.org. There is a very nice resources directory there, and I'd like to see us support their efforts. Here, we are collaborating and working and trying to figure out how we can augment what the project is doing and help make Joomla! better.

Let's get some more feedback from others on this, but that's my ideas. Thanks!

Pankaj, I think Amy is correct - if you have some valuable help for developers, prove it first by helping someone in need and earn trust. Let's keep our sales pitch to our profile page ;)

I totally agree with Kyle.

At least here please do not just try sell services. But free help to joomla project for sure no one will reject
