This is a long talk and with many aspects to discuss, but I believe, OSM should close the walls over Joomla. If things keep going as they are now, soon someone will can sell himself as Joomla Pope or Joomla Owner or Joomla Official anything.

I continue thinking that IF a certification should exist, this should be a WORLD work, with the command to OSM and the Joomla directors.

Acchile, welcome to this group. May I explain something about my hopes for the User Manual?
It is tempting to simply write pages but closer examination of the wiki structure shows that it can be built in a way that allows a single entry to be repeated everywhere that information is needed. I propose to go that way. Here is one from the Help system of Joomla 1.5
This means that my view of the translation task is to create versions of that in a new language. Precisely how that is then turned into a localised wiki I have yet to determine but that is my current focus.
And it is closely similar to my present problem which is how to convert the 70% which continues from 1.5 into 1.6 most efficiently.
I hope you approve and you may have some knowledge / understanding of this translation path. If we master how to do it for one language, then Joomla! for world domination :-)
