Very cool! If you have information you want to share with others, feel free to post or open a discussion. I'm sold on Jamaica - let's just get the date set! lol!

Hi Amy, Thanks for having me. SociaLingua is a flagship product behind our start-up social media company here in Jamaica. I'm a big advocate for Open Source where ever I go, most of our in house implementation reflect that as well as our web presence which you know is based on Joomla Framework.

Our current plan is to start our beta version of SociaLingua with a commercial social networking component, JomSocial, then later move to an open source component, Anahita which is based on koowa (Nooku Framework) as I am very impressed with the development cycle and road map they have been using to date. There a few more open source implementations we are looking at that will integrate with Joomla.

Jamaica would be an excellent place to host any conference, rank 3rd happiest people in the world, home of the fastest man in the world and birthplace of Reggae and the King of Reggae Bob Marley.

P.S. I'm a fan of your tweets...

Jamaica. I think we should have our first ever International Joomla! Developer Conference in Jamaica. Welcome! I would love it if you shared some of the design and implementation behind your WhatisSocialngua.com Joomla! site. It's very nice. Then, let us know when to book our flights for the Jamaican Conference! :)
