A relative newbie to the Joomla world, I have learned a whole lot in the fourteen months since my first exposure to Joomla. While initially focused on Joomla as a business platform, I have gotten extraordinarily into the idea of 'open source activism', aka the fact that small not for profits can use open source technology and social media tools to build a web presence that rivals that of major corporations.
My main areas of interest are e-commerce, information architecture and search engine optimization, though I hate the acronym SEO. I have also been known to obsess over stylesheets, pull out my hair with javascript and rock out on the forum (under a couple of different profiles).
