Try overriding using a local PHP.ini file. If this doesn't work, you'll need to speak with your host to see what's going on - they may not give access to do this.

Hi Mfundo, did you double check that the setting from the .htaccess is really active? Take a look in the Joomla! admin area under "Help" --> "System info" --> "PHP settings" and confirm that display errors is really set to off.

Thanks Guys... Just didn't want to upgrade 10 sites if it was the same process as migrating from 1.0x to 1.5!! :)

Hi Mfundo, We have already tested some of our own Joomla! 1.5 extensions under the Joomla! 1.6 Alpha and most of them worked fine. It just depends what kind of functionality the extensions offer. In general: Simple MVC-components, modules and plugi…

Upgrading to Joomla 1.6

Just wondering how user friendly will it be migrating from 1.5 to 1.6..?

I have never liked the process of upgrading from 1.0 to 1.5 (some how the process was time consuming, it was like moving from a totally different platform) Unless I did things the wrong way.

Oh! and how compatible will the extensions you used on 1.5 be on 1.6?
