Just downloaded your Admin Bar Docker and installed it on my personal site. No glitches so far...very nicely done. I'll play a little bit to see if there are any issues, but none are apparent at first glance. The only thing that might make it any better would be the ability to choose to dock at the top OR the bottom. Not sure that's possible, but only having it dock at the top would not be a deal breaker for me.

Peter - I've been enjoying getting to know you, first through your work, and then through our conversations. Your work is interesting to me because you seem to see the big picture of how Joomla! operates, and are able to address problems with innovative approaches. I learn from you and appreciate that.

As you know, recent discussions with you helped to serve as a catalyst for me to kick off this group and at least try to see if we can strengthen the development community. I have been struggling with continuing or leaving the project. It's an odd thing to have a strong association with a virtual project and it can be helpful when someone bothers to listen. So, thank you for that. I really have no idea where things will lead but I am glad we are trying.

Oh, and I forgot one: Sorry for coming across so mushy and emotional. As they say in The Netherlands: "Ik lijk wel een wijf!"   (Argh, was being sarcastic again. That kinda nullifies my whole post :S )

I think the reason this discussion is so quiet is because there isn't much high quality documentation out there and we all (as developers) have the same questions you have. Documentation for my extensions is high on my todo list too. But it…

Patch: Show module on all pages except...

I was talking to Amy yesterday about something I missed in Joomla!

The ability to tell modules to appear on all pages except the selected ones.

Intro to problem

You must know the problem:

You have a module you want on all pages except the home and contact page for instance.

So you go to the modules Menu Assignment and choose Select Menu Item(s) from the List

You select all but Home and Contact. And all is fine and dandy.…
