"I meant that the drop down links on the home page don't work. They drop down, but they don't link. It only happens in IE on the home page where the Simple Image Rotator is. I just looked, and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?"

Troubleshooting javascript dropdown menu...

My client's website www.kitchenandbathideas.biz has Joomlaworks' Simple Image Rotator on the home page. Two of the top menu items have dropdowns that were falling beneath/under the SIR image in Internet Explorer. I fixed that, but now the links do not work.Any ideas?See More

I'm a natural born people person with a splash of computer nerd, I have well developed skills in project management, web development, customer service and mass communication. I have a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Technology from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro as well as a Master of Arts from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. I have over seven years of experience working with HTML, CSS, PHP, and the Joomla! CMS.

For the last few years, I’ve done nearly all of my website development using the Joomla! Content Management System. The capacity of Joomla! combined with 3rd party extensions allows me to do things that would have taken me years of study to know how to do otherwise.

On May 31, 2011, I began a new phase of my webcentric career as Online Marketing and Web Design Consultant at Aristotle in downtown Little Rock. This new opportunity allows me to work with a mix of programmers, artists, marketers, project managers and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Hey Rob - thanks for joining in! Twitter is great for meeting people. It'll also be nice to use tools like Ning to share at a little deeper level so we cna learn from one another as we use Joomla! professionally - and for fun. I'm looking forward to hearing more about IVM Web Solutions and encourage you to open discussions on what's working well, and where you see need for improvements that could help folks build better Joomla! Web sites. Thanks for being a part of this!
