lafrance, I know this annoying situation very well. I feel with you.

OUCH!! I lied.
There are two RSS feeds on SecurityFocus. Just opened my FeedReader and found…
Hi lafrance, mandville.
Unfortunately exploit-db indeed is a base for silly spammers hand hacker groups, intending to profile themselves, yes. On milw0rm that was the same game and that was the one of the main reasons for str0ke not to continue…
Ah, ok. http://explo.it/ == http://exploit-db.com/.
uwe@codebox ../~ $ host explo.it
explo.it has address 208.68.234.102
explo.it mail is handled by 10 mail.explo.it.
uwe@codebox ../~ $ host exploit-db.com
exploit-db.com has address…
I fully agree on Ric's comment.
A vulnerability list has to be up to date, or it doesn't make any sense. I noticed "change protected", only two people responsible for this page and this was a sign for me not to get deeper into…
Hi together.
The magic words are:
I. Adapter (see the Shadowbox adapters)
II. Choice (let the user choose which framework to use)
Nothing more to say. ;-)
Please share a bit about your Joomla! Experience and yourself. The more information you provide the quicker we will be able to process your membership.
First contact was Joomla! 1.0.12 and directly fell in love. I never really tested other content management systems, because Joomla gave me anything .... OK, almost anything .... I needed.
My first project then was on the Community Builder Enhanced, adding a user group dependent FPDF based billing functionality. On that project I also wrote a small file sharing component that integrates in CB or CBE.
Next was the release of a JACL Plus patch component weeks before ByOS Tech did. That was due to a security leak in 1.0.13. Exactly at this time I got in touch with Daniel at NinjaForge, the former Ninjoomla.
Here's another short list of projects:
Modifications on SOBI2 for a better embedding of the formerly mostly hard coded HTML output into the individual design of the client's page.
Modification of the SOBI2 Radius distance Search module, adding an image map of a Germany card for searching states and cities by click (AJAX/JSON).
Then I did NinjACL, a fork of JACL Plus, my first project at NinjaForge. That was a complete code cleanup, mega thinning and kind of a creepy security bug hunt. Other Ninja extensions I worked on were: Ninja Shadowbox 2.0, Ninjimage, a bit of bugfix work on Shadowpanel, Ninja Accordion, Super sIFR, Custom Gallery, Ninja Extension Central and recently I added a roll back functionality to our Joomla Updater in Ninja Site Styler that creates gzipped backups of the replaced files, so the user can fall back to the older version when an upgrade failed.
I was involved in alpha and beta development of our flag ship Ninjaboard and my own little baby is NinjaSecurity, an SQL injection guard as system plugin, which in the near future will extended by a component, containing an .htaccess generator for login and directory securing, a syslogger (JLog) with exception handler (JException), logviewer, back tracer (JProfiler) and a reflection suite for system analysis, so the user will be able to gain deep system specific information of the entire system. This will then be my first project that sets up on the Nooku framework.
Actually I'm working on a 1.0 component port to native 1.5 MVC for Anything Digital, located at Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Victor already asked for the next project in the new year. Hmmm, we will see what fututre brings. :-D
Oh, I allmost forgot my private secret project on the Joomla! 1.6 core. I can only tell you that much, that I will replace something with a port from my own ppCMS (the pp stands for Perl Power :-), programmed in 2003 under CGI/Perl. Unfortunately due to time and financial reasons this system never really grew beyond a few basic features.
But I should not reveal too much. :-D
Just make you a bit curious and then, maybe ..... amaze you? We will see. I think I should yet by a huge ton of coffee, Nespresso (what else?). :-D
The new year is full of interesting things and I reckon there won't be much time for sleep. *lol*
