This is very interesting. I asked a related question on drupal.org a few weeks ago to clarify this (in this case about images in a GPL Drupal theme) but have not gotten an answer yet. In the end, I am leaning toward generating / creating /…

Congrats this sounds great. I am just curious and this is a theoretical: Once Joomla 1.6 gets released and there are dot updates, say for example Joomla 1.6.1, will it be fairly straight forward to update Molajo to the same core 1.6.1 version? (This…

@Dan Knauss , you make an excellent point about extensions / themes, the difference I see in the Drupal community is that when a feature in a module is seen as a must have, it's often suggested by everyone involved that it make into core and…

I really like the Acquia / Drupal model, it works well. Drupal itself is left untouched and free / open source but if you choose you can go to Acquia and purchase various levels of subscriptions to get support, enhanced search, and a whole host of…

I just saw on Twitter that Jon Lackey aka Zuno has some Joomla clips he has written for Coda, this is fantastic. Here's a direct link to his blog: http://zunostudios.com/blogs/tags/coda/

I have had this offered to me so many times, I have lost track. It's quite annoying & insulting after a while and I have one client in particular who likes to offer this up to me on a regular basis. I have never taken the bait from him…

The only community component I have ever implemented for a client was Community Builder -- and it was the first and last time I used it. I saw a tweet about CB yesterday and it sums up my sentiments…

Bill, I also modified it a bit to use pixels instead of % and also changed up the names to reflect more what was actually going on in the page.

I have a VPS from ServInt with WHM & root access via SSH as well as with a GUI (Virtuozzo). It's running on CENTOS 4.8. It's a click of the mouse to set up a new hosting instance that will have cPanel accessible by the client. In…
