Awesome first meeting - hope you were there. Thanks to Mark Dexter and Robert Deutz. Make certain to plan on the other meetings. Devs need to get active with the 1.6 finalization through the Bug Squad.

In other news today! ;-) I was very pleased to see Louis's positive response to David Vega's post on how to open things up for people to bring in their ideas for development and work together on concepts in an organized, low drama fashion. I agree with Niels Braczek that this could bring in the transparency and opportunity to participate that everyone wants. Sounds like David is going to continue to flesh out his ideas.

Pay attention to these chances to talk with the project and get involved yourself. First up, is 1.6 finallization and we should be there.

I'm going to give my full support to the joomla nation and really try to help out where I can.

Work has been off the charts lately, but I will try to make time to give back to the project I love.

I just want to take a minute to thank the OSM board members and leadership team members that have taken action toward making Joomla a more transparent and friendly place to be a part of.

But more than that, I want to thank the devs who continue to trudge through getting 1.6 out the door and into our hands.

I really hope to see these small steps lead to bigger and better things in the future.

I'm off to the list to see where I can help out right now!
