Complete design proposal for the Joomla! Community Magazine

Following our first design proposal towards the new Joomla! Community Magazine (read more here: http://www.alltogetherasawhole.org/profiles/blogs/first-draft-mocku...), we are now presenting our final proposal, that consists of 2 layouts: a standalone design and a design that integrates with the existing Joomla.org website network.

Standalone design: http://projects.komrade.gr/mockups/magazine.joomla.org/

Joomla.org integrated design: http://projects.komrade.gr/mockups/magazine.joomla.org/index2.php (best viewed on 1280+ pixel resolution)

Very nice indeed. Appealing to the eye, look easy to follow, but of course the true test will come when there are many articles aboard the site.

Interesting that there was an ad for Wordpress themes on the site though.. LOL

Cheers,

Very beautiful. I am impressed with how nice the integrated design looks - was worried about that - but, it's perfect. Thanks for your contributions, Fotis, what a positive way to bring in the new year! Looking forward to seeing this team make good things happen - and to contributing a few stories, myself.

Fotis, the design is amazing. Would love to see a living and breathing Joomla site that looked like this, and had all the functionality that the design suggests. Would be an incredible showcase for Joomla!

Just curious, not sure if it's a design or editorial issue:

Is there going to be a way for readers to tell the difference between columns and features? Or does there even need to be?

That looks awsome I would prefer the stand alone version if I had to vote on it and thanks for the K2 component also, and the All Videos plugin and the.................... :-)
