Facebook development plattform - anything to learn, use for Joomla project(s)?

Interesting to see Facebook dev platform and I wonder if there something Joomla can integrate, use or learn from Facebook open source and its infrastructure?

http://developers.facebook.com/opensource/

Facebook has been developed from the ground up using open source software. Developers building with Platform scale their own applications using many of the same infrastructure technologies that power Facebook.

Dont know if the licenses is a show stopper for Joomla.

Facebook is a great project, and they have comprehensive integration options with other technologies. I've used their Graph API quite a few times. However, Joomla is a great project in its own right. I think the two projects function in different ways. There may be things we can take from them, but nothing comes to mind right now. The thing is, Facebook has great technology that can be integrated in to Joomla, like single-sign-on.

It's a wild suggestion, but keeping facebook architecture in mind might help a lot. Specially, their Graph API that also Anahita guys using; a Nodes-Graphs-Stories approach to any content. Their interestingly great ability to work with large numbers, like what HyperDB does for WordPress. And the amazing work of JavaScript on the client side.
