J and beyond - an international Joomla conference is heading for the next step
After deciding on the final name for the event this week we are now heading for the next steps in the overall event organization. As discussed in the event group we have now more little items to cover. More and more people are getting involved in the idea of having an international event related the Joomla project and it is great to see the feedback and ideas we get. Please keep those ideas coming.
The next step we are heading is to decide on a final logo for the event. The designers involved in the logo design will truly come up with some concepts that are hard to decide on. Some of them we have already and they are really nice if you asked me. But again it's the community we like to ask about it. This is why I would like to invite you in having a look in the current work and argumentations made be the designers. We will create a new poll for the final vote as soon as we have some logos for the new name.
For the moment we like to wish you a merry christmas time and a happy new year 2010 - we are sure this will be a very exiting year.

Great to see the name finalized and great it's "J and Beyond" for good reasons.
Dunno posting it here is good but I had some free creative time under the tree :-)
I think it is fun/tight/shiny and suits an event and the usage required by an event (posters/flyers/badges/t-shirts etc), easy to change the date for future years and very flexible to use for special occasions/needs (see the example sponsor badge and the examples with different colors at the bottom)

Thank's Arno - can you post these logos in the other thread as well? Looking forward deciding on the logo soon.
