To also mention: coffee where you walked through, and one floor below, The after-sessions Bar with self-service fridges full of beer and other non-alcoholic beverages.

Plus on your left, lots of hotel rooms. Walk out of your bed, and be in the conference, walk out of the conference and fall asleep in your bed (at least for those who could sleep there).

It was a perfect location ! Hope it can hold J&Beyond 2011, with the huge success of this first international community-organized conference, it will sure be overbooked!

Beat, you're right, I realised when I stopped, that I forgot to mention the awesome cave of a bar, the table tennis table I regret not playing on, and the proximity of the rooms - such a memorable weekend!

The venue was definitely clutch. While it took a bit of getting to, having the conference, after-conference, rooms, and meals all in the same building worked out extremely well. Now I know why Robert jumped on reserving it!
