@Brian - in #6.3 Maintaining and Growing a LUG I found this comment: Follow Linus Torvalds's benevolent dictator model of leadership
It seems with the change in the social network landscape, that ruling a Community like a benevolent Dictator isn't the best choice now. Exclude the Community from any/all input, and you'll starve the community! Sounds like what's up with OSM and the Joomla! Community!
