Thanks, Alex, for sharing that video. Enjoyed watching it. JM is a fabulous and gracious speaker.
Interesting to hear that there are plans to begin the team for the framework in the next month. I would have preferred to see the devs get 1.6 out first but some of them haven't contributed code towards it in a long time, so it probably won't slow things down.
I believe very strongly if the project polled the developer community and asked where we'd like to see the framework head, the vast majority would call for nooku. It's time to give that and the future of the Joomla! project some thought.
I'd love to see six-month releases, starting with 1.6. Hopefully, we can get that out in the next six months.
If everyone worked as hard as JM and treated others straight up, like JM does, Joomla! would be in much better shape.
